The word "ikigai" 生き甲斐 is a Japanese concept that is used to indicate "the reason for which you wake up in the morning." Sovitaa’s ikigai is to help people take control over their fitness. The Sovitaa fitness website and app was born out of the values and beliefs of its founding members. As modern-day individuals, our work commitments took us across the GCC where one of our founding members expressed frustration over his inability to find fitness centers. This led to the creation of Sovitaa.
In a world where you can select and find cuisines with a click of a button, being unable to find a fitness center in an area of your choice, offering the workout that you like with the amenities you need was unacceptable.
We believe that fitness is a lifestyle that should not be compromised because of work or travel. It gives us great satisfaction and a sense of purpose knowing that we are a part of something that will be of service to the community.
